BIS certified & MNRE approved solar water heaters for homes and businesses all over India. ETC systems recommended for hard water areas, FPC systems for soft water areas — featuring Glass Lined German Technology Tanks. Reduce water heating costs by up to 80% with systems designed to last 15+ years.
Solar water heaters are one of the most efficient and cost-effective ways to reduce electricity consumption while enjoying a reliable supply of hot water throughout the year. At Kamal Solar, we specialise in manufacturing high-performance solar water heating systems for residential homes, apartments, hotels, hospitals, and industrial facilities — supplied all over India.
Our systems use clean solar energy to heat water naturally, helping you lower your energy bills and reduce your carbon footprint. With over 30 years of experience in renewable energy solutions since 1998, every system we manufacture is built with precision using BIS-certified, MNRE-approved components and Glass Lined German Technology Tanks for lasting durability.
Kamal Solar manufactures three types of solar water heating systems, each suited to different water quality, building types, and budgets.
Vacuum-sealed glass tubes with copper heat pipes absorb solar radiation with minimal heat loss. The glass tubes naturally resist scale and mineral build-up, making ETC the preferred choice for hard water areas. Works reliably even on partially cloudy days. Available in capacities from 100 LPD to 500 LPD.
Best for: Residential homes, apartments — especially in hard water zones
Flat plate collectors use a copper absorber plate inside a glazed insulated box. FPC pressurised systems deliver hot water under pressure and perform best in soft water areas where mineral scaling is not a concern. Available from 100 LPD to 1,000 LPD+.
Best for: Multi-storey buildings, hotels, and soft water locations
The non-pressurised FPC system uses a copper absorber plate inside a glazed insulated box, with hot water delivered through gravity flow rather than mains pressure. The tank is mounted at a height above the collector, making it a cost-effective choice for independent homes and low-rise buildings with adequate roof space. Available from 100 LPD to 500 LPD.
Best for: Independent homes and low-rise buildings on a budget in soft water areas
All our systems are fitted with Glass Lined German Technology Tanks — the inner tank surface is coated with a special borosilicate glass lining using German engineering techniques. This provides superior corrosion resistance, prevents rust and scale build-up, maintains water purity, and extends tank lifespan to 20+ years even in areas with chlorinated or mineral-rich water supply.
Available with both ETC and FPC systems for maximum durability
The most common question our customers ask is whether to choose an ETC or FPC solar water heater. Here is a clear comparison to help you decide:
| Feature | ETC System | FPC Pressurised |
|---|---|---|
| Water Type | Hard water areas — glass tubes resist scale | Soft water areas — copper absorber performs best |
| Water Pressure | Non-pressurised (gravity flow) | Pressurised (works at any floor) |
| Building Type | Independent homes, low-rise | Apartments, high-rise, hotels |
| Lifespan | 15–20 years | 15–20 years |
| Maintenance | Low — tube replacement if needed | Low — periodic descaling |
Cut water heating electricity consumption by up to 80%, saving ₹3,000–₹8,000 per year for a typical household.
Zero emissions during operation — pure solar energy powers your hot water supply every day.
Robust systems designed for 15+ year lifespan with minimal annual upkeep required.
Reliable hot water supply even during overcast days with integrated backup heating element.
All systems meet Bureau of Indian Standards and MNRE approval requirements for quality and safety.
Manufactured and supplied all over India for residential, commercial, and industrial use.
Kamal Solar follows a streamlined, quality-assured process — manufactured at our facility and set up at your site in as little as 30–45 minutes for standard residential systems.
Our experts understand your hot water requirements, daily usage, family size, building type, and local water quality — to recommend ETC (hard water) or FPC (soft water) accordingly.
Our technical team assesses rooftop orientation, shadow-free area, sunlight exposure, and water supply to determine the optimal system design and tank placement.
We design the system layout — collector angle, Glass Lined German Technology Tank position, pipe routing — and manufacture it at our facility with pre-tested, BIS-certified components.
Standard residential systems are set up in 30–45 minutes. Our technicians mount the collector, position the tank, connect insulated pipes, and integrate the backup heating element with minimal disruption.
The complete system is tested for leaks, flow rate, and temperature output. We brief you on operation and thermostat settings before handover.
Choosing the correct capacity ensures your household always has enough hot water without oversizing the system.
| Household Size | Recommended Capacity | Rooftop Area Needed |

| 1–2 persons | 100 LPD | 16 – 22 sq ft |
| 2–3 persons | 150 LPD | 22 – 32 sq ft |
| 4–5 persons | 200 LPD | 32 – 43 sq ft |
| 5–7 persons | 250 LPD | 43 – 54 sq ft |
| 6–8 persons | 300 LPD | 48 – 65 sq ft |
| Guesthouse | 500 LPD+ | 86 – 130 sq ft |
